This is Blythe, written by Gina Garan, features Kenner Blythe dolls out and about. These dolls are photographed in a variety of settings and places. Garan captures Blythe in a very human-like manner, using her large expressive eyes to show a lot of personality. This book is what inspired the creation of modern Blythe dolls. Garan also created Blythe Style. In this book, many fashion designers created outfits for Blythe.
An overview of all Blythe dolls created by Takara/CWC can be found in the trio of Blythe Collection Guide books. These books were created by Junko Wong and feature a vast amount of information. While the books are only available in Japanese, the photos within these books are fantastic. They cover all of the Takara Neo Blythe and Middie Blythe dolls.
Hanon is a brand of impeccably designed doll couture and patterns. Satomi Fujii creates doll outfits, outfit kits, patterns, and books.
There are many mooks, a cross between a book and a magazine, that have been created with patterns for Blythe and similar sized dolls. Some of these include Dolly Japan, Dollybird, and Dolly*Dolly.
